House Speaker Romualdez greets Muslims for Ramadan

House Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez extended warm greetings to the Muslim community observing the holy month of Ramadan on Saturday.

Romualdez emphasized that Ramadan is a time for deep reflection, prayer, self-discipline, and fostering solidarity within communities, reminding Filipinos of values like faith, perseverance, compassion, and unity.

He called on all Filipinos to uphold core Ramadan virtues such as faith, unselfishness, empathy, generosity in material giving but also kindness, patience, and understanding.

The Speaker highlighted the importance of using Ramadan as an opportunity to build a more compassionate and just society by strengthening communities and promoting peace.

Romualdez wished Muslim brothers and sisters inner peace, renewed faith, and Allah's mercy during this holy month.
