Philippine stars start Sparkle tour in Canada

Philippine stars Barbie Forteza and David Licauco, Julie Anne San Jose and Rayver Cruz, and Bianca Umali and Ruru Madrid have arrived in Canada for their Sparkle tour.

The quartet shared a TikTok video showcasing the 'Back It Up and Dump It' dance trend, with additional Instagram posts from Rayver documenting an afternoon stroll in Calgary on Thursday alongside his girlfriend Julie Anne and fellow love teams David and Barbie, as well as Ruru and Bianca.

The Sparkle Canada Tour, directed by Johnny Manahan, will take place on April 5 in Calgary and April 7 in Toronto, with additional performances from Bianca Umali and Ruru Madrid. Kapuso comedian Boobay is also joining the tour to co-host 'The Boobay And Tekla Show'.

While preparing for the tour, the actors are focusing on their individual projects: Barbie and David in 'Pulang Araw' and 'That Kind of Love', Rayver in 'Asawa ng Asawa Ko', Ruru in 'Black Rider', and Bianca in 'Sang’gre'.

The love teams, including David and Barbie who rose to popularity as a love team in 'Maria Clara at Ibarra' and Julie Anne and Rayver who made fans kilig with their online dance covers, are enjoying their time together in Canada.
