Solon files bill to extend Bayanihan 2 fund for COVID vaccines

Rep Jericho Nograles filed House Bill 8017 seeking to extend until Dec 2022 the Bayanihan to Recover as One Act budget for COVID-19 vaccine procurement.

The bill aims to extend certain provisions of Bayanihan 2, which are set to expire when Congress adjourns on December 19.

Nograles proposed this extension due to recent developments in vaccine trials and production that were not anticipated earlier.
