Salceda proposes enhanced 'Build, Build, Build' for economic recovery

House Ways and Means Committee chair Joey Salceda proposed an 'enhanced Build, Build, Build' program as part of the country's economic stimulus strategies to recover from the COVID-19 crisis.

Salceda emphasized that infrastructure remains a powerful economic tool during crises, estimating that every P200 billion spent on infrastructure can create up to 463,000 jobs in the same year.

He warned that cutting infrastructure spending could lead to significant job losses and stressed the importance of maintaining such programs to keep the economy afloat.
