Power outage disrupts aid distribution in Payatas

On Monday, a power outage in Barangay Payatas, Quezon City made the distribution of social amelioration aid more difficult for residents who waited up to 14 hours in line.

Local authorities used three generators and lights from two firetrucks to help with the payout process, which finally concluded around 3 a.m. after electricity was restored.

Beneficiaries had been waiting since Sunday evening as distribution continued into the wee hours of Monday.
