SMC Infra opens Maria Clara exit at Skyway Stage 3

San Miguel Corp.'s infrastructure unit opened the northbound Maria Clara exit of the Quezon Avenue extension at Skyway Stage 3 in Quezon City on Saturday, December 28, ahead of the holiday weekend.

The new exit is expected to alleviate traffic congestion and provide a convenient alternative for motorists in Quezon City, especially during the long weekend leading up to New Year's celebrations.

SMC Chairman Ramon Ang expressed gratitude towards the Toll Regulatory Board (TRB) for issuing an interim permit to open the Maria Clara exit, which became operational at 6 a.m. on Saturday.

Ang noted that SMC Infra is working on meeting the remaining requirements for a full TRB permit and has deployed patrollers and road safety personnel to guide motorists using the new exit.

Skyway Stage 3 connects the Skyway System from Gil Puyat in Makati to Balintawak in Quezon City and the Northern Luzon Expressway, with the Maria Clara exit not incurring any additional toll fees for now.
