SM Supermalls offers free EV charging at 69 malls during Holy Week

SM Supermalls is offering free electric vehicle (EV) charging at 69 of its malls during Holy Week to support eco-friendly long-distance travel.

The mall operator currently has a network of 123 EV charging stations, with plans to add 50 more by the end of 2025, making it a Department of Energy-accredited operator that meets national standards.

Top-up stops for northbound trips are available at SM City Rosales, SM City Urdaneta Central, and SM City Baguio, while southbound travelers can charge their vehicles at SM City Santa Rosa, SM City San Pedro, SM City Lipa, and SM City Legazpi.

Motorists making longer drives to destinations like SM City Naga from SM Mall of Asia (SM MOA) are encouraged to stop at charging stations in intermediate cities such as SM City Lucena for CO2 savings.

In addition to Luzon, EV drivers in the Visayas and Mindanao can use charging stations located at malls in Cebu, Cagayan de Oro, and Davao.
