Letran wins first NCAA Season 100 game with Sarie leading

Letran coach Oliver Almadro discovered a promising player named Sheena Sarie during his recruitment trip to Bicol.

Sarie, a middle blocker from Naga Colleges in Camarines Sur, made her debut with an impressive 22-point performance, including 21 kills, leading Letran to a victory over Jose Rizal University Lady Bombers in the NCAA Season 100 women's volleyball.

The win marked Letran's first of the season and sets the stage for their pursuit of surpassing last year's runner-up finish.

In addition to Sarie's standout performance, Nizelle Martin contributed 17 points while Judiel Marie Nitura added 16 points in support of the team.

Earlier in the day, Letran also secured a win over JRU in the men's division with scores of 25-19, 25-15, and 25-18.
