Sharon Cuneta celebrates Kiko Pangilinan's strong showing in Senate race

Sharon Cuneta expressed her joy and gratitude after her husband Kiko Pangilinan secured a strong position in the partial and unofficial senatorial results on Tuesday, May 13.

The actress shared a heartfelt message on Instagram emphasizing her faith and trust in God throughout the campaign period, saying 'Faith is standing at the edge of uncertainty, hands open, heart steady saying, Lord, I trust You anyway.'

Cuneta thanked those who supported Pangilinan and dismissed negative comments from trolls as ineffective against informed voters, adding that with Kiko's win, trolls are no longer effective.

She also congratulated fellow senatorial candidate Bam Aquino for securing second place in the unofficial Senate race.

As of 10:12 a.m. on May 13, Pangilinan ranked fifth with over 12.3 million votes, while Aquino held the second spot with more than 16.8 million votes.
