Shane Reterta's nine points key in De La Salle's volleyball win over Adamson

Rookie player Shane Reterta played a crucial role in helping De La Salle University secure a victory over Adamson in their UAAP Season 87 volleyball match on Wednesday.

Despite trailing early in the game, Reterta's insertion by head coach Ramil de Jesus provided a third offensive option and she scored nine critical points to turn the tide.

Reterta's contributions were pivotal as she countered Shai Nitura’s strong performance; Nitura scored 35 points but couldn't prevent Adamson from losing.

Teammates Angel Canino and Shevana Laput praised Reterta for her courage and positive attitude during crucial moments, calling her a 'game-changer' and a 'breath of fresh air'.

Canino highlighted Reterta's bravery in facing difficult situations without fear or hesitation, noting that she provided support when needed.

With the victory, De La Salle improved to 9-4 and remains on track for a twice-to-beat advantage in the semis with an upcoming match against FEU this weekend.
