Shaina Nitura leads Adamson's comeback win over St. Benilde

Shaina Nitura led Adamson University to a decisive victory over College of St. Benilde in the women's division of the 2025 V-League Collegiate Challenge on Tuesday at Paco Arena Events and Sports Center.

Despite falling behind by seven points in the third set, Nitura's contributions helped turn the tide for Adamson, who won the match 25-22, 25-13, 25-20.

Nitura scored 18 points with strong attacks and aces, along with eight excellent receptions and seven digs, showcasing her all-around skills.

Coach JP Yude praised his team's resilience in responding to challenging situations, particularly during the comeback from a deficit in the third set.

Adamson's victory extended their winning streak to three games, while St. Benilde suffered their first loss in the tournament after securing wins against University of Perpetual Help, Letran, and Ateneo de Manila University.
