Senators condemn student's death due to alleged hazing

Senators are condemning the death of Adamson University student John Matthew Salilig due to alleged hazing.

Senate President Juan Miguel Zubiri, who authored the Anti-Hazing Act, called for the immediate arrest of suspects and reminded them that they face life imprisonment under the law.

Senator Risa Hontiveros emphasized that while fraternities are not illegal, activities involving violence like hazing should never be tolerated.
