Foreign national kicks and kills cat Ken in Makati

A cat named Ken, which was part of the community in Ayala Triangle Gardens in Makati City, died after being kicked by a foreign national believed to be Chinese.

CARA Welfare Philippines released CCTV footage showing the incident on January 4 and is seeking public assistance to identify and locate the perpetrator who refused to provide his address when confronted by authorities.

The group has posted the incident on social media urging netizens to help identify the attacker, offering a substantial monetary reward for confirmed information leading to his location.

Senator Grace Poe condemned the act and emphasized the importance of holding individuals accountable under Republic Act No. 8485 (Animal Welfare Act of 1998) as amended by RA 10631.

CARA Welfare Philippines stated that they will file charges against the foreigner for violating the Animal Welfare Act, reinforcing their commitment to justice and animal protection.
