SEC closes main office for disinfection, 4 workers test positive

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) announced the temporary closure of its main office in Pasay City, located at the Philippine International Convention Center, from Friday, June 26 to Tuesday, June 30.

Two SEC employees and two outsourced personnel tested positive for COVID-19 in rapid antibody tests; they are currently under quarantine and being monitored by SEC medical staff.

The affected individuals have no history of travel abroad or known exposure to confirmed positive cases and will undergo confirmatory tests.

SEC is implementing health protocols consistent with the guidelines from the Department of Health.
