Schroder named MVP as Germany wins first FIBA World Cup title

Dennis Schroder led Germany to a historic victory in the FIBA World Cup, earning MVP honors with 28 points in the final against Serbia.

Germany won their first ever FIBA World Cup title on September 10, defeating Serbia 83-77 at the Mall of Asia Arena.

Schroder celebrated with coach Gordie Herbert and showed respect to Serbian player Bogdan Bogdanovic after the game.

The All-Tournament Team included Schroder along with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Anthony Edwards, Bogdan Bogdanovic, and Luka Doncic.
