Fil-Canadian Savi Davison returns to PVL after knee surgery

Fil-Canadian Savi Davison made her return to the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) on Tuesday after recovering from knee surgery that kept her out of the entire 2024 Reinforced Conference.

Davison, an ace player for PLDT High Speed Hitters, expressed eagerness to contribute following their controversial semifinal exit in the previous conference.

In her comeback match against Nxled, Davison helped secure a victory with a team-high 19 points from 18 attacks as PLDT won in four sets at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig City.

Davison emphasized that the team has a chip on its shoulder and is focused on securing a podium spot moving forward in the 2024-25 PVL All-Filipino Conference.

The player highlighted the difficulty of watching from the sidelines but expressed gratitude for being able to return early and contribute to her team's success.
