Savi Davison leads PLDT to All-Filipino Conference quarterfinals

Savi Davison led PLDT to a victory over Zus Coffee in the 2024-25 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All-Filipino Conference on Tuesday, pushing PLDT into the quarterfinals.

Davison matched her career-best performance with 34 points, including 32 attacks and two service aces, helping PLTD secure a win by scores of 20-25, 25-20, 25-20, 26-24.

PLDT advanced to the quarterfinals where they will face the Choco Mucho Flying Titans in a best-of-three series.

Zus Coffee, now in the play-ins alongside Cignal and Capital1 in Pool A, saw their upset bid fall short against PLTD's strong performance.

Jerry Yee-led Zus Coffee dropped to fifth place, making them compete for lower seeds in the upcoming rounds of the tournament.

Davison expressed her determination to secure a championship for PLDT, emphasizing the importance of maintaining high standards and defensive strategies against Choco Mucho Flying Titans' Sisi Rondina.
