VP Sara urges unity and faith during Holy Week

Vice President Sara Duterte urged Filipinos on Monday, April 14, to reflect on unity, faith, and compassion during Holy Week amid ongoing challenges.

She reminded the public of Jesus Christ's sacrifices as an inspiration for difficult times and encouraged them to spread His love within their communities.

Duterte emphasized the importance of healing, conversion, and reflection during a time when the country is facing significant challenges and deepening divisions.

The Vice President also called for unity and faith to overcome darkness, saying 'Let us unite. We will overcome the darkness.'

Earlier this month, Duterte returned from The Hague where her father, former president Rodrigo Duterte, is detained while awaiting trial before the ICC.

She assured that she has been updated on programs and projects implemented by the Office of the Vice President during her absence in the Netherlands.
