Leyte, Northern Samar extend GCQ; Samar extends ECQ until April 30

Leyte and Northern Samar extended their general community quarantine (GCQ) until April 30 due to rising coronavirus cases.

Samar Governor Reynolds Michael Tan extended the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) until April 30 based on recommendations from the provincial inter-agency task force.

Tan instructed agencies like the police and military to continue implementing measures against the spread of COVID-19, with three confirmed cases in Samar as of Monday.
