Jaja Santiago signs with Denso Airybees for seventh Japanese season

Jaja Santiago, who now uses her Japanese name Sachi Minowa, has signed with the Denso Airybees in the SV.League for her seventh season and third stint in Japan.

The 6-foot-5 middle blocker expressed eagerness to give her all in every game and achieve great results after leaving Osaka Marvelous in April 2025 following a title win.

Santiago previously played for Saitama Ageo Medics from 2018 to 2023 before joining Osaka, and has also played for Chery Tiggo Crossovers in the Philippines.

In a statement, Santiago thanked fans and said she is eager to work hard and contribute to the team's success this season.

Denso Airybees finished fourth last season with 29 wins and 15 losses.

The club previously featured Jia De Guzman, a Philippine national team member who helped Denso win the Japan V. Cup in April 2024.
