Roque clarifies 'vacation' remark due to pandemic

Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque clarified his comment that Filipinos have been on 'vacation' for nearly a year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Roque defended President Duterte's decision to reclassify November 2, December 24, and December 31 as working days to recover lost time from the pandemic.

He stated that his reference to being on vacation meant people were unable to work during the pandemic, not that they were actually on holiday.
