Robredo dares officials to show SALN to prove no corruption

Vice President Leni Robredo challenged government officials on Sunday to disclose their Statement of Assets, Liabilities and Net Worth (SALN) to prove they are not involved in corruption.

Robredo's challenge came after President Rodrigo Duterte stated he would audit all government agencies if he wins the vice presidency in 2022.

Robredo argued that auditing is COA's constitutional mandate, not the VP’s role.

She noted that while she makes her SALN public, Duterte has kept his secret since 2018.
