Robredo gets AstraZeneca vaccine, urges Filipinos to join immunization program

Vice President Leni Robredo received her first dose of AstraZeneca's coronavirus vaccine on Wednesday, May 19, at Pinyahan Elementary School in Quezon City.

Robredo, who has hypertension, was vaccinated along with 17 other employees from her office who belong to the same priority group (A3) for those with comorbidities.

After getting vaccinated, Robredo urged hesitant Filipinos to join the government's immunization program and noted that some of her staff were initially scared but felt confident after receiving their first dose.
