Pangilinan clarifies viral video was just friendship

Donny Pangilinan clarified during a press conference for his new movie that the viral video of him with Kathryn Bernardo was merely an act of friendship.

Pangilinan and Bernardo are good friends in the entertainment industry, and he was simply looking after her at Robi Domingo's wedding reception where they served as groomsmen.

Domingo addressed the situation on X (formerly Twitter), emphasizing that everyone involved is friends and there should be no issues created.

He noted that Pangilinan and Darren Espanto helped take care of guests as part of their duties as groomsmen at his January 6 wedding to Maiqui Pineda.

Pangilinan later posted a message to his fans, apologizing for any hurt feelings caused by the misunderstanding and expressing his love for them.
