Ritchie Estampador and Maricar Camacho win men's and women's titles in National Milo Marathon

Ritchie Estampador and Maricar Camacho claimed victory in the men's and women's divisions of the 21-kilometer centerpiece event at the 2025 National Milo Marathon Manila leg on a gloomy Sunday morning.

Estampador, a marathon novice from Mapua University but originally from La Castellana in Negros Occidental, won with a time of one hour and ten minutes and eighteen seconds. Camacho, a seasoned runner from Bacoor, secured the women's title with a time of 1:32:16.

Despite challenging weather conditions, both runners demonstrated exceptional performance, leading their competitors throughout the race.

Camacho had previously finished second in last year’s Manila leg and third in the national finals, while Estampador made his marathon debut after a career as a middle-distance runner.

The pair received P10,000 each along with sports apparel; Camacho plans to use her winnings for her daughter's education, while Estampador will save it for his studies at Mapua University.
