Rep Ferdinand Romualdez meets Mindanao lawmakers to discuss development, policy

Leyte Representative Ferdinand Martin Romualdez met with lawmakers from Mindanao to discuss local development needs and national policy alignment.

The meeting held in Butuan City included a listening session where lawmakers raised urgent concerns and proposed policy interventions.

Romualdez highlighted the House-to-House Agenda, a seven-point framework outlining legislative priorities for the 20th Congress aimed at promoting regional development.

Topics covered include food security, clean water access, affordable electricity, reliable transportation, sustainable livelihoods, accessible healthcare, and quality education.

The lawmakers represent various political parties including Lakas-CMD, Nacionalista Party, National Unity Party, Partido Federal ng Pilipinas, and the Liberal Party.

Romualdez emphasized the commitment to listen and understand regional realities to turn visions into national progress, with plans for more regional consultations in the future.
