Rama asks DILG to keep 'no vax, no dine-in' policy

Cebu City acting Mayor Michael Rama on Wednesday appealed to the DILG not to revoke the city's 'no vaccination, no dine-in' policy due to low recent COVID-19 cases.

Rama noted that Cebu City's daily case count has dropped to two digits from 200 to 400 cases per day previously and its positivity rate decreased to 15% from 26%.

The DILG, however, is reviewing the policy as it was not approved by the IATF; Secretary Eduardo Año said the regional office has been tasked to coordinate with Rama to review the city's actions.
