ROS signs Caelan Tiongson to three-year deal

RAIN OR SHINE (ROS) has secured its top draft pick Caelan Tiongson with a three-year contract on Sunday during the team's campaign at the Kadayawan Invitational Basketball Tournament.

The Elasto Painters welcomed Tiongson to their family, joining him for the signing ceremony in Davao City along with ROS alternate governor Edison Oribiana and head coach Yeng Guiao.

Tiongson's arrival comes days after ROS signed Fil-Swedish player Felix Lemitti and Francis Escandor as part of their first three picks in the PBA Season 94 Rookie Draft, making Tiongson their third rookie signing following his championship run with Strong Group Athletics in Taiwan.

Head coach Yeng Guiao expressed satisfaction with the team's selections, noting that they secured Tiongson at seventh overall despite initial expectations of a higher draft position.

ROS is set to face UAAP champion De La Salle University in the finals of the Kadayawan tournament as they prepare for the upcoming Commissioner's Cup.
