La Salle-Greenhills loses to Perpetual Help, 100-96

Guillian Quines led La Salle-Greenhills to a 78-77 victory over Letran in NCAA Season 100 high school basketball, securing their place in the finals.

Despite a strong start, La Salle-Greenhills fell short against University of Perpetual Help Junior Altas on Friday, losing 100-96 and dropping the first game of the best-of-three series.

Lebron Jhames Daep scored a season-high 21 points while Jan Roluna added 20 points to lead UPHSD in their victory.

The Junior Altas now hold a 1-0 advantage heading into Game Two on Sunday at Filoil EcoOil Arena, with the potential for a decisive third game on Tuesday if necessary.

Coach Ren Ren Ritualo's team will need to bounce back from Friday's loss as they face UPHSD again in hopes of securing their place in the finals series.
