Solon proposes 'household lockdowns' vs COVID-19

Lawmaker Stella Quimbo proposed 'household lockdowns' in response to rising COVID-19 cases.

Under this proposal, families with a member testing positive would be isolated, while the infected individual would quarantine separately.

Quimbo emphasized that local government units could better monitor cases and provide assistance at the household level, allowing other economic activities to continue.
