KJC leader Quiboloy undergoes dental check-up during extended furlough

Detained Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KJC) leader Pastor Apollo Quiboloy will undergo another medical examination during his extended furlough, according to the Philippine National Police (PNP).

Quiboloy was previously hospitalized on November 8 due to chest discomfort and returned to detention on November 16.

A Pasig City court granted an extension of Quiboloy's medical furlough until November 27 for dental issues, allowing him to be brought back to the Philippine Heart Center over the weekend.

The PNP spokesperson confirmed that Quiboloy is currently doing well and will return to the PNP Custodial Center in Camp Crame on Wednesday, November 27 at 4 p.m.

Quiboloy faces non-bailable charges under Republic Act No. 9208 for qualified human trafficking and Section 5(b) and Section 10(a) of Republic Act 7610 for child exploitation.
