Quezon City library restarts free online Japanese course

The Quezon City Public Library is restarting its free online Japanese language course for beginners starting June 19.

Classes will cover basic grammar, vocabulary, everyday greetings, and writing systems like Hiragana and Katakana, led by instructors from Jellyfish Education Philippines, Inc.

QC Mayor Joy Belmonte highlighted the program's aim to provide learning opportunities for all Filipinos, emphasizing that knowledge is key to progress.

Participants can register through the QCPL Facebook page; registration spots are limited to 500 and require confirmation within 24 hours or risk forfeiture.

Since its launch in 2019, over 3,600 people have graduated from this program, making it one of the city's most sought-after learning initiatives.

The course not only teaches language but also immerses learners in Japanese customs and etiquette, offering a holistic cultural experience.
