Millora-Brown appeals FIBA ruling to play for Philippines

Top Filipino-American basketball prospect Quentin Millora-Brown is seeking to appeal his case with FIBA to become eligible to play for the Philippines.

Millora-Brown, who played for UP in the UAAP last season and recently faced Gilas Pilipinas, has been ruled as a naturalized player due to insufficient citizenship requirements under FIBA rules.

The 6-foot-10 forward is working with his lawyers and agent to appeal this decision, aiming to secure eligibility based on proving he obtained Philippine passport requirements before turning 16.

Millora-Brown expressed his strong desire to represent the Philippines, citing respect for the national team and a deep connection to his Filipino roots.

In a recent match against Gilas Pilipinas, Millora-Brown showcased his skills with six points, seven rebounds, two assists, two steals, and a block in Macau's loss.
