PVL warns Robins-Hardy of sanctions if refuses Farm Fresh

Premier Volleyball League (PVL) president Ricky Palou warned Alohi Robins-Hardy that she could face sanctions if she refuses to play for a team other than Farm Fresh after Sunday's draft.

Robins-Hardy has previously stated that she will only play for FarmFresh and otherwise walk away from Philippine volleyball, signing a five-year deal with the team last year.

Palou emphasized during yesterday's PSA forum that players must accept any team that drafts them or face penalties, specifically mentioning Robins-Hardy's case, who reiterated her stance on Monday.

The PVL is scheduled to meet Wednesday to further discuss Robbins-Hardy's situation just days before the official draft where 60 players are set to participate including 25 from UAAP and 15 from NCAA.

Farm Fresh will pick third overall in the Draft slated for June 8, with only Galeries Tower standing between them and Robins-Hardy, who is committed to FarmFresh due to a previous promise made upon her return.
