PNVF allows PVL players to join clubs for Invitational

PVL president Ricky Palou announced on Thursday that members of the Alas Pilipinas Women's national team are now allowed to play for their respective PVL clubs.

The Philippine National Volleyball Federation (PNVF) chairman and PVL president Ricky Palou cited permission from PNVF president Ramon 'Tats' Suzara, who granted players clearance despite the national team season running until October 15 but with no immediate tournaments scheduled.

Several players have already participated in the ongoing PVL Invitational, including Alleiah Malaluan of PLDT and Jen Nierva of Chery Tiggo, while Vanie Gandler and Dawn Catindig sat out Cignal's game. Jia de Guzman of Creamline is not included in the current roster for the Invitational.

National team practices will continue three times a week during the tournament to prepare for the 2025 SEA Games scheduled for December, with players returning to their clubs between now and then.

Additional players such as Mars Alba, Justine Jazareno, Fifi Sharma (Akari), Tia Andaya, Maddie Madayag (Choco Mucho), Brooke Van Sickle, MJ Phillips (Petro Gazz), Julia Coronel (Galeries Tower), Thea Gagate (ZUS Coffee), Dell Palomata (PLDT), Bella Belen and Leila Cruz (Capital1) were also allowed to join their clubs for the Invitational Conference.
