PSE reopens trading floor on June 1

The Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) is reopening its trading floor on June 1, following the easing of Metro Manila's quarantine measures.

Stockbrokers may return to the trading floor to boost investor confidence, though PSE will observe strict health and safety guidelines including temperature checks, daily health declarations, and physical distancing requirements.

Only one trader per booth will be allowed compared to two or three before, and all persons inside must wear masks at all times.

PSE president Ramon Monzon hopes the reopening will contribute to public confidence in economic recovery.
