PRC announces pass rates for electrical engineering and master electrician exams

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced that 4,436 out of 7,005 candidates passed the Registered Electrical Engineers Licensure Exam and 629 out of 1,220 passed the Registered Master Electricians Licensure Exam in April 2024.

Raymond Omboy Geoman from Cebu Institute of Technology-University was the topnotcher with a 95 percent rating for the Electrical Engineers exam, followed by Mark Oppus and John Jacob; Mariclaire Baingan Larugal of Isabela State University-Ilagan topped the Master Electricians exam with a score of 92.5%.

The University of Batangas led schools with a passing rate of 96.20 percent in the Registered Electrical Engineers Licensure Exam, while no additional top school was mentioned for the master electricians exam.

Registration for Professional Identification Cards and Certificates of Registration will begin online on June 17, 2024, at www.prc.gov.ph.

Successful candidates must personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals with necessary documents such as a completed oath form, notice of admission, passport-sized photos, stamps, and an envelope.
