PHP3.03T PPP projects pipeline includes 13 new unsolicited proposals

The Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Center reported that 136 projects worth PHP3.03 trillion are in the pipeline for implementation between the government and private sector.

Recently added to the list of 121 approved projects are 13 unsolicited proposals, including digitalized traffic enforcement initiatives in various cities and municipalities, as well as medical infrastructure developments like hemodialysis centers and cancer registry systems.

Notable advanced-stage projects include the PHP23.40 billion Tarlac-Pangasinan-La Union Expressway extension, the PHP16.9 billion Civil Aviation and Immigration Security Services project, and the PHP2.21 billion Digital Infrastructure for the Philippine National Cancer Registry and Next-Gen Clinical Research.

PPP Center deputy executive director Jeffrey Manalo expects five key projects to be awarded by the end of 2024, including the Tarlac-Pangasinan-La Union Expressway extension and the New Bohol International Airport.

Additionally, projects like the Bislig City Bulk Water Supply and Negros Occidental Bulk Water Supply Project are anticipated to be awarded in late 2024 or early 2025.
