Poy Erram sidelined for a year due to ACL tear, will support teammates from sidelines

TNT big man Poy Erram will miss approximately one year of play due to a torn left anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) sustained during Game 4 of the Philippine Cup finals against San Miguel.

Erram, who was initially diagnosed with a meniscal tear and ankle sprain, revealed that an MRI conducted after Game 5 confirmed the ACL injury.

Despite his absence, TNT managed to limit San Miguel's June Mar Fajardo to just 13 points in Game 5, his lowest scoring game of the finals series.

Erram will support his teammates from the sidelines by providing strategic advice and observations as TNT faces a challenging deficit in the best-of-seven series.

TNT will now rely on Brandon Ganuelas-Rosser, Kelly Williams, and Henry Galinato to contain Fajardo and other San Miguel big men.
