Pontejos, Bernardino lead Gilas Women past Hong Kong

Janine Pontejos and Afril Bernardino led Gilas Pilipinas Women to a dominant 99-63 victory over Hong Kong in the Asian Games on Friday.

Pontejos scored 23 points, including seven three-pointers, while Bernardino added 20 points, eight rebounds, and six assists.

Jack Animam contributed 10 points and a game-high 22 rebounds, with Khate Castillo adding 17 points off the bench.

With this win, Gilas Women improved to 2-0 in Group B and will face Japan on Sunday.
