Police seize P340K shabu in Batangas, over P1M in Pampanga, arrest 'Kabayo' in Cavite

Police seized P340,000 worth of shabu from two suspected drug traffickers in Batangas City on Monday and over P1 million worth of shabu from suspects in San Fernando, Pampanga on Wednesday night.

In a separate operation on Wednesday evening, police arrested an alleged 'high value' drug trafficker named alias 'Kabayo', 36, in Imus City, Cavite; he was detained after selling a pack of shabu to a poseur buyer.

The Batangas suspects, identified only as Christopher and Melcherd, were arrested for selling P100,000 worth of shabu to an undercover officer; in San Fernando, alias 'Tastas' and 'Ris' were detained with 160 grams of suspected shabu.

During the Imus operation, police confiscated 150 grams of shabu worth P1 million and a mobile phone used for drug transactions; further investigations are underway to determine the source and network of the seized drugs.

Christopher is tagged as a high-value individual in the local drug trade, while Melcherd is considered a street-level pusher; both suspects now face charges under the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
