JTF Covid Shield drafting barangay quarantine rules

The Joint Task Force Covid Shield has begun drafting guidelines for barangay-level implementation of mandatory face mask use and other quarantine measures.

Lt. Gen. Guillermo Eleazar, JTF Covid Shield commander, stated that these guidelines will be cascaded to over 42,000 barangays through designated QRS or PNP focal persons appointed by city and municipal police chiefs.

Eleazar emphasized the need for uniform guidelines across all barangays to synchronize national and local government efforts against COVID-19.
