Brian Poe Llamanzares files CONA for FPJ party-list

Brian Poe Llamanzares, son of Senator Grace Poe, has filed his certificate of nomination and acceptance (CONA) for Eleksyon 2025 with the Commission on Elections (Comelec), representing the FPJ Panday Bayanihan party-list.

Accompanied by his mother during the filing at the Manila Hotel Tent on Thursday, October 3, 2024, Brian expressed readiness to serve based on his academic background and experience in public service.

The FPJ party-list aims to continue Senator Poe's legislative agenda and represent various sectors including urban poor, informal settlers, youth, farmers, fisherfolks, and frontliners.

Dr. Lisa Ong, wife of cardiologist Dr. Willie Ong, filed her husband's certificate of candidacy for senator on the same day.

Lawyer Gilbert Lauengco, spokesperson for Dr. Willie, revealed that he plans to conduct a hybrid form of campaigning for the next elections, combining limited physical appearances with extensive use of social media.
