PNVF and LOC prep for FIVB men's champs kickoff in a month

The Philippine National Volleyball Federation (PNVF) and Local Organizing Committee (LOC) are preparing for the FIVB Men's World Championship, which starts in exactly one month on September 12.

At a Final Technical Working Group Inter-Agency Meeting on Monday at Century Park Hotel, PNVF President Ramon 'Tats' Suzara expressed gratitude to all stakeholders and assured that preparations are on track.

Speaking to reporters following the campaign kickoff on Wednesday, Suzara emphasized the need for further promotion of ticket sales, especially in provincial areas, while announcing plans to offer special packages to schools and local government units.

The tournament's launch event at SM MOA Music Hall featured the unveiling of official mascots 'Kid Lat,' 'Koolog,' and 'Hataw,' as well as the presentation of the coveted trophy and PhilPost commemorative stamp.

Eya Laure led the induction of volunteers, with Suzara and other sports executives such as PSC Chairman Patrick Gregorio and Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) President Abraham Tolentino in attendance.
