PNP seizes 526 illegal firearms from security agencies

The Philippine National Police (PNP) seized 526 firearms from various security agencies during inspections conducted between January 1-20.

Police Brigadier General Alden Delvo noted that the seizures were made for justifiable reasons such as failure to present valid permits or licenses, and expired duty detail orders.

PNP chief Gen. Dionardo Carlos commended the Civil Security Group-Supervisory Office on Security and Investigation Agencies (CSG-SOSIA) for their efforts in confiscating these firearms.
