PNP reassigns top brass: Abrahano to CIDG, Magistrado to Caraga

Brigadier General Christopher Abrahano has been designated as the new Acting Director of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) with effect from July 28, 2025.

General Order No. NHQ-GO-DES-2025-3717 issued by the Philippine National Police (PNP) on July 28 announced Abrahano's appointment.

Brigadier General Marcial Magistrado IV will replace Abrahano as the director of Police Regional Office 13 (Caraga).

Colonel Rodelio Samson, currently serving as deputy director for operations at PRO 2 (Cagayan Valley), will take over from Brigadier General Marcial Magistrado IV.

Brigadier General Romeo Juan Macapaz, the outgoing CIDG director, was appointed to lead Police Regional Office 12 (Soccsksargen) on the same date.

Finally, Brigadier General Arnold Ardiente, who is stepping down as regional director of PRO 12, has been named the next executive officer for the Area Police Command-Visayas.
