PNP files sedition vs Quiboloy supporters

The Philippine National Police (PNP) plans to file sedition complaints against supporters of Pastor Apollo Quiboloy, including more than ten individuals involved in a rally during the search for him in Davao City.

Police Regional Office 11 chief Brig. Gen. Nicolas Torre announced that charges related to inciting sedition and conspiracy will be filed this week as soon as he returns to Davao City.

Torre also mentioned that some of Quiboloy's supporters are former PNP officers who trained his purported private army, the Angels of Death, in basic life support skills.

The PNP chief Rommel Marbil stated that a special composite team has been formed to build more cases against those who aided Quiboloy, emphasizing thorough investigation involving digital evidence.

Arrest warrants have been issued for Quiboloy and others for alleged violations including child abuse and trafficking; Quiboloy has pleaded not guilty to these cases.
