KOJC uses lasers against PNP helicopters during Quiboloy search

Members of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) allegedly used laser devices to point at Philippine National Police (PNP) helicopters during a search for their leader, Pastor Apollo Quiboloy.

Police Major Catherine dela Rey from PRO 11 condemned the actions as dangerous and a violation of aviation safety regulations, noting that such behavior threatens the operational effectiveness of law enforcement units.

ABS-CBN News captured video footage showing light from lasers on a PNP helicopter during an aerial survey over the KOJC compound in Davao City on Sunday afternoon.

Chief PNP General Rommel Marbil was reportedly aboard the chopper to conduct the survey, and Dela Rey urged members of KOJC to cease these activities for safety reasons.

Sixty police officers were injured during operations to implement arrest warrants against Quiboloy, leading to complaints filed against 29 KOJCs for obstruction of justice and direct assault.

Secret hallways were discovered inside the compound cathedral on Thursday, although a minister denied their existence, claiming it was merely a connection between backstage and main stage areas.
