PLDT beats Petro Gazz 3-0 in PVL on Tour

PLDT maintained its unbeaten streak in the 2025 PVL on Tour with a dominant victory over Petro Gazz Angels at the Capital Arena in Ilagan City, Isabela.

The High Speed Hitters won sets 25-22, 25-15, and 25-16, with Majoy Baron and Jovelyn Prado leading the offense with 12 points each.

Prado was named Player of the Game for her performance with 13 receptions in addition to her 12 points, while Kim Kianna Dy contributed 10 markers.

PLDT's strong net defense played a crucial role in their victory, especially with Baron blocking against Aiza Maizo-Pontillas and Jonah Sabete to secure Set 1.

Petro Gazz struggled without Alas Pilipinas members Brooke Van Sickle and MJ Phillips, turning to Myla Pablo who scored 16 points but it was not enough as the reigning All-Filipino Conference champions fell to a 1-2 record in the tournament.
