Pirates force OT, defeat Arellano to extend streak to five

Lyceum Pirates extended their winning streak to five games after defeating Arellano Chiefs 89-77 in an overtime match on Friday.

Despite trailing by up to 24 points in the first half, Lyceum forced overtime and won with improved decision-making and confidence in the second half.

Coach Gilbert Malabanan praised his players' character for not giving up until the final buzzer, while Captain Enoch Valdez led the team with a game-high double-double of 26 points and 14 rebounds.
